Built Toyota Tough!
Over the weekend, I rolled the odometer to the next digit. 7 years and 100,000 miles later, this truck has been amazing. Here's to another 100,000!

I assume you did not come across any major problems? Tranny and engine still strong and smooth?

Congratulations. I have a long way to go before I reach 100k, but I know these trucks are very reliable and as long as I keep up with the maintenance I will reach 100k without issues except for minor little things that come up now and again.

Thanks! The truck get smoother and better with age. Engine and tranny are flawless. I am currently getting 17.5 mpg with mixed driving on 89. I just change her oil and rotate the tires every 5k. The only had I had was a rear axle seal at 92k.
Mike- 200k, wow!! I hope mine can get that high. Any major issues?

Besides normal maintenance....I've had a couple issues. But nothing big.
1) Brake calipers. I've replaced them twice. At least it's an easy job.
2) Back in July...for some unexpected reason...I was driving along and all of a sudden...my speedometer and tackometer were reading 0. And my OD was flashing. 4runner was running fine. I stopped at my destination...and when I restarted everything was fine....EXCEPT ONE THING...My OD RESET itself. It read 0 MILES. It erased 171k miles. I now have about 35k miles since the reset.
3) My OEM radio gave me problems. So I replaced it with a Kenwood HD radio..LOVE IT.

Completely stock. The Limiteds have different gauges, with the red dot at the end of the needle.

wow i had no idea! Im on a mission now to find and buy some limited needles!!!! They should be universal between all 4runner gauge clusters right? So if I buy the needles i can just swap them with my stock ones? If anyone has any links/info on them please share thank you
And just an FYI your gauge cluster does have different styling overall. Seems the limiteds had different gauge cluster designs overall which is something i had no idea about and a bit jealous. Check what mine looks like here: LED Gauge/HVAC Kudos to emelianenkov

To be fair, Mrpanic's needles aren't stock. They're the second set out of the three 4th gens that have white needles in the world
OP: I'm jealous you got to 100,000. I just turned 37,500 today haha. I have so far to go! Here's to the 300k club Hope I'll join some of the elite 4Runners at that milestone some day.

I don't know if there is a difference in the styling. I know that 04-09 had the gauges illuminated at all times because of visibility issues.
Hopefully I will be part of the 300k club- this truck will be with me till it dies.
Thanks everybody!!

I too am going to drive my truck until it dies. Then when it dies in 10-15 years, I'll make it into the most badassed-est crawler I've ever owned (this is my first truck, so that shouldn't be too hard)
