Unhappy Question about minor damage...

Hey guys. My baby sustained her first trauma today. I think it happened thursday while at a Best Buy in Eastgate shopping center in Cincinnati. I have three seperate scratches down to the black on my front bumper, all same height, all about the length of a nickel and width of half a dime. Two on one side, third on the passenger side. I believe some rectum hole scraped a shopping cart along the bumper. They, as I said, are all the same height right at the top of the bumper as it levels out to go to the grill. I want to fix it. What kind of damage am I looking at?

Also, I think that once I get it fixed, a bull bar is going on. How much do they run, and where can I find them. I searched earlier and could not find specifics on retailers.

Thanks guys.....

I would try to live with it. If you choose your Bull-bar carefully enough, it might just cover it up? Many have Bull-bars here. That

Thanks. I did search, but didn't see anything specifc. Then, as soon as I posted, I looked back and saw where someone just posted a similar question. I know what I want now, so if everyone can just give some advice on what it might cost to fix the scratches, I would appreciate it.

I would try a few body shops in the area to get an idea of the cost.

But, To be honest with you, its not her last scratch. If you off road at all trail rash is going to happen. Shopping carts are going to happen. Chances are most people wont even notice the scratches.

I freaked out about my first scratch too, but I live with em... hell I like em now!!!

Gives the truck character. IMHO.

just my 2 cents..
try scratch x by meguires.

my guess is that they will want to replace it. i got a couple of scratches (when it was at the dealer) on my front bumber and asked several shops how much it would cost to fix it. everyone told me the same thing - that i would have to replace the bumper otherwise the paint would just peel off.

when a service manager at the dealer found out that they were the ones responsible for the scratch, he offered to have the bodyshop fix it - free of charge. it has been 4 months and all of their paint is peeling off. big surprise.
