alignment sheet after lift

finally got around to lifting the 4runner 884 front toytec superflex rear with stock uca
alignment sheet

this is what they claim the best they could do.
anyone with stock uca chime in on the numbers they were able to achieve?
might take it to another shop to get a second opinion
was hoping to avoid buying uca but oh well we shall see!

Looks good except caster, and I would like a little more toe. I am caster is maxed out. It will probably wander a little more than it did before, but your tires won't wear.

I know how to read it, from what I've read others have been able to get better numbers. Trying to figure out how much more they were able to get

Here's what the shop was able to do with 885's/Superflex's/Bilstein 5100's/stock UCA's (before I broke down and installed SPC UCA's):

Before
LF Camber: 0.9
LF Caster: 1.4
LF Toe: 0.16
RF Camber: 0.7
RF Caster: 1.0
RF Toe: 0.10

After
LF Camber: 0.1
LF Caster: 0.6
LF Toe: 0.06
RF Camber: 0.1
RF Caster: 1.8
RF Toe: 0.07

Off topic but...

Nice to see your from Kona!, I lived there for a while as a younger kid, spent alot of my time at honokohau harbor with my dads fishing buddies.
My family has a house in the Alii park place! Hoping to get over to the big island this summer!

Not bad but I would think they could get a bit more caster.

Caster is too low.
If they can't get it at least to the high 2.# consider aftermarket UCA like Light Racing to get you more into spec.
Hope someone else would chime in on the caster, that is low.

Without after market UCAs, is this the spec I should get it into? I'm lifted 2.5" in the front.

Did you go with the spec "ohnoitsthecop" posted or something else?

I'm looking to get mine aligned and I don't want the tech to tell me he can't do it. Basically I'm looking for some numbers to hand to him.

Camber 0.0
Caster 2.2-2.5 (the more, the better)
Toe 0.3
If the tech can't get these numbers he's being lazy.

yeh, he must be lazy...

there is no guarantee theres enough adjustment after a lift.
EVERY vehicle is different.
it might be, that from the factory, it required just a tiny bit more adjustment one way, than the other to bring it into spec. if thats the SAME direction its needed after a lift, guess what, you wont have enough.

also slightly different ride heights, different frame flex, or HOW the rig has been used also comes in to play.

by all means, if you dont trust the alignment guy, go somewhere else.

With 2.5-3" of lift and stock UCAs it is common to only get between 1-2* of caster. I know this is out of spec, but it is not necessarily that bad. Caster is what keeps your truck rolling straight without you having to exert a lot of force on the steering wheel. I would spend some time driving your truck and decide if you think it drifts too much at highway speeds before just jumping on UCAs to get it into spec. Adding caster at the top, which is where UCAs add caster, will move your tire more rearward and cause more rubbing issues. I have only .7* of caster and I am fine with how well my truck tracks on the highway. In your case I would be more concerned with the fact that the caster on both sides is identical. Generally they are set differently from each other to compensate for the crown in the road. I suspect with them being identical you will notice your truck pulling to the right when you let go of the wheel.

Thanks! I had the lift on for more than a week and haven't aligned it yet. I'll get back here with some numbers when I get a chance.

You see how the middle section of the paper has cross camber and cross caster? What are those for?
