TPMS sensors

I have a 05 4Runner Sport V6 and I am looking at buying 2011 SR5 4R wheels. As far as I can tell these wheel should fit my 4runner however does anyone know if the TPMS sensor for my 05 wheel will fit the 2011 wheels? Thanks

the only quick response is make the mod that shuts the warning light off
everything else TPMS related is expensive and dealer

I would switch the sensors out unless you have a TPMS capable scantool that will do Toyota TPMS.

If you don't swap them out, you'll need to reprogram.

Does this need to be done when you rotate tires or just change tires. I'm due to rotate mine...

Only needs to be done if you're changing your wheels. You don't need to do anything when rotating or getting new tires.
