Can't seem to find front engine skid plate that covers oil filter and radiator. Not looking for heavy duty. Just oem. Can't find anything in eBay used or even on other websites. Anyone have one for sale. It's for an 2005

Conicelli Partznet | Used dealership in ,
ToyotaPartSales.com
Those are both really good places for oem parts.
It's listed for 250.00 on toyotapartsales. I'll sell you mine for 150.00 since I'm buying another one anyways. Pm me if you're interested.

Honestly though, if your going to buy a new one you may as well buy a heavy duty one because it's the same price as a stock oem one new

Check out this company LKQ. They have used parts in various condition. Prices are very reasonably!

Mines in good shape, no dents or major scratches. If you go with a heavy duty one, id suggest budbuilt.

I would recommend you checking out Man-a-fre skids. They arent as solid and heavy duty as Budbuilt but it sounds like its more than enough for you. A little lighter on the wallet as well.

I don't think you can buy anymore OEM skidplates from Toyota. Our Parts department couldn't produce a valid part number for the part in their system. Your best bet is most likely companies like LKQ and possibly some of those aftermarket Toyota parts websites may have them in stock. I feel your pain, it was hard finding a replacement OEM skid plate for my 4th Gen until I get around to getting heavy duty plates.

That looks good. Is front mount to the bumper strong enough to support it in let's say water crossing where it'll get plenty of pressure against that area? It looks as it is attached with plastic tabs on plastic bumper.

There are actually steel tabs on the upper side that are oem for holding the bottom of the front bumper that this bolts up to using stock bolts. The ones I normally make fit an 03-05 due to the fact that in 06 they changed the way things are bolted and held in place. I think I might have a few in the garage that are already primed up and ready for paint.
