Got the ARB compressor fitted in last night, also got the air lines to front and rear lockers ran. Running the wiring tonight switches already installed on the dash.
I'm planning to build a cargo draw system around the compressor just had to get the important stuff in there first can't wait to get back on the trail!!!
edit: just noticed how dirty the back of my seats were lol time for some shampoo i suppose...

That compresser is really big! Now I know what you mean about not having enough room under the hood. There's more room in the back, lol. Good luck with the cargo drawer system! Can't wait to see how she does on the trail triple locked, maybe I can get you go up Daniel with us.

TJM locker fitment issues.
We'll I finally got all the locker solenoids wired, airlines hooked up, an made like a fetus heading out to the trail saturday..
The lockers made the trails as easy as cutting butter with knife. any time a tire decided to spin, after flick of a switch the truck crawled right on up. No bouncing around, no rut digging, no stacking rocks to get traction just straight up over the rocks!!
unfortunately I had some actuator issues with my TJM locker as it would not disengage. I pulled the air lines to ensure it had released pressure from the actuator and everything on the outside was working properly. So i pulled the third member (2nd time in about a month ) anywho it turned out the actuator setup designed by TJM won't fit properly in my axle housing for some odd reason as theres many 4runners using this carrier that ECGS has installed personally.
so I drove up to Raleigh NC to ECGS and dropped off the 3rd member there going to swap it out for an ARB no charge to me an ship it back once finished. so yet another hats off to Drivetrain Specialists East Coast Gear Supply for great customer support. They've also got an office full of awesome gear head goo roo's that i got to spend a better part of the afternoon with and saw some really gnarly axles getting built up. (dreaming of my SAS as well while i was there lol)
also on another update.. getting my armor setup started off got a set off BAMF LCA skids on order If anyone didn't know they're running a 30% off sale this week! also ordered a rear diff skid from bud built. I figured I'll start with the lowest Items that need protection. next will be some rear shock lower mount skids, as well as beefing up the lower control arms on the rear axle. (now that i have lockers my under body will certainly be getting drug across some rocks)
Looking at budbuilt full underbody skids as well. perhaps next years budget will bring some bumpers and rear tire carrier!

Bummer to hear about the TJM fitment issues but good to hear about ECGS customer service. I don't think you can go wrong with an ARB in rear.

Thanks man, I'm fortunate enough to have a shop in my backyard would be the main reason i can work on it as much as i do. I'd never work for toyota lol they don't pay well and its all political brown nosing part changers trying to get to a management position so they can just get paid to answer phone calls aside from the few and far between good toyota techs. Plus they say the best way to ruin something you love is to make a career out of it lol.

Aha's sick ride...
Aha, you really do have an awesome runner... makes me really want to jump on some of these mods, and break the bank... new wife probably wouldn't be to keen on that though... Maybe i can get some decent rims and tires and at least ride a few of the trails at Uwharrie...

thanks man, My wife's never been happy about my investments either. I found its better to ask for forgiveness than permission lol but tread lightly my friend haha. Also if you can put the time into searching theres a ton of good deals out there and you can get the budget way down thats been my best option to keep the wife happier. "But I saved 300 dollars baby" lol sometimes it doesnt work
anytime you want to ride uhwarrie just hit me up I'm always ready to hit the trails. I've seen guys on street radials do good out there as long as it's dry. but a heavier duty tire is by far recommended.

Just wanted to update the thread with a few additions...
new head unit intalled...
added a budbuilt diff skid after getting the rear locker re-installed
New Optima 27F size battery (help out the new on board air and sound system)
Picked up some new Depo black bezel head lights
Sanded and painted these metal trim pieces they had become pitted over time
still lookin sharp, also switch out the HVAC and switch bulbs with some white LED's, still working on getting them all installed as well as finishing up the cargo recovery draw system.

What head unit is that and what accessories did you use? (Did you get the controls for the sub/steering wheel control?) I'm picking up a kenwood in a week or so also.

Its the kenwood DDX419, one of the lower models without nav. I've run a remote wire from the head unit to the JL audio 250 watt amp to control the sub, and a whatever the blue box is, is what I used to connect up to the steering wheel controls. an replaced the factory sub with a 10" port and slotted JL audio sub box. The only other thing I'll eventually add to it would be a back up camra.
