How does the Winch mount in the Shrockworks Front Bumper

Just got my bumper and i have no idea how the winch mounts. Theres a big open area but no mounting holes. Looks like aim missing the winch plate or something.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Also it sits over towards the drivers side.

I tried tweaking the brackets but I can't get the bumper to slide over.

Any way to straighten it up?

Ok I figured out that the winch sits against the front of the bumper.

Still need to tweak the whole bumper over towards the passenger side.

Theres about 1/2 more bumper sticking past the drivers side flare than the passenger side. Did any of you have this issue when you installed your front bumper?

I'm installing mine tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes. Besides being a little off, are you have any other difficulties?

Since you're mounting the winch sideways, remember to clock the clutch lever before you bolt it onto the bumper.

My bumper sits even side to side but I did have a problem with getting enough gap between the bumper and fender. The most I could get was about 3/8". I solved that with doing a simple 1/2" body lift. Even with nearly 1" gap, the bumper still rubs the fenders slightly at full flex.

What's the recommended gap?

1 inch?

SW recommends 1/2". 3/4"- 7/8" is enough gap for most off roading but I still get minor rubbing under extreme flex. 1" should be more then enough space and you probably won't get any rubbing.

BTW,while your bumpers are off, scuff up the white paint and spray some satin black on the gap surfaces and it'll help gap blend in better.

I was able to get the bumper pretty straight today. Torqued everything down.

Right around 1/2 inch gap under the fenders.

One more question though. The turn signals. There are 3 wires but the stock plug only has two. What do you do with the Grey/white wire. Im assuming the Grey/Red is power and the Black is ground.

Also when plugging them into the bulb there are three different choices. Is it just a process of elimination?
