Sorry, I hardly check this site anymore given the scene.
The GX 460 is great. I love the more refined interior and features, and the V8 is butter.
The only main negatives I see so far is the need for premium gas, and I find the engine fan to be obnoxiously loud compared to the 4th gen 4.7.
I don't plan on doing much to the GX since I bought it for my wife, but we did throw some 275/65/18 BFGs on, upgraded the lighting, etc. I might replace the tired stocked suspension with Kings for a 1" lift.
Not that I want everyone and their mother to buy a GX, but for what its worth, I like having a car that is less popular than the lemming 5th gen 4runner. Plus, they cost the same used.

For those that asked about the Tundra Rear Fox 2.5 RR shocks
You'll need to revise the lower bushings from 0.620 on the Tundra version to 0.745.
You may also need to install longer hose lines to prevent rubbing of the tire when flexed. I ended up running a 24" hydrolic hose behind the rear splash guards, which required me to take the shocks to get retrofitted, refilled with oil, and repressured for ~$200.
The 2.5 Fox rears are beefy, and I've had zero issues or complaints.

F Sport wheels 18x7.5 +20mm offset 28.5lbs vs
5th gen wheel 17x7.5 +15mm offset 31lbs
F sports would stick 5mm further out.

This is awesome, thanks for documenting all of this. This is my first post -- I just bought a 2006 Sport V8 in GG yesterday and looking forward to getting started.
