Front Rotors

Should the front rotor just fall off after i took the caliper off?

Yep, at least mine do even after 125,000 miles. Nice not having to get a "bigger hammer."

They can rust weld to the hub, but nothing a few taps with a hammer won't break loose.

They are free floating rotors...they aren't bolted on or anything...the pressure of the wheel holds them in place and like sungod said usually a few hammer taps frees them up or they just fall off either way.

I love/hate the places that try to change you to remove/replace the rotors... Like there is really ANY work involved.
