Exclamation Glove box latch problem

Hey Gents,
I've been reading topics on this forum for a while now. Finally signed up.

The mechanism on my 07 ltd glove box door broke. Toyota quoted me $40. Lock still works, just need that plastic mechanism behind it. Anyone know where to look?

You could try to look up a Pull-a-part yard near you or you could try car-part.com, they have a database of used parts across the nation... I've used this site quite a few times.

This was also posted a few years back of Toyota parts/ junkyards.

41 Toyota used parts suppliers and junk/bone/wrecking/

Hope this helps

I assume that was your local dealer. You can probably get the part for $30 online.

it's good your lock still works
I'm living without one since the cost to replace and re-key was crazy high
had to destroy it to get the key out
it is one of those features of the 4R that I wish I never had used (well 3 or 4 times before it broke)
