wheel spacer question

I'm gonna be ordering some allpro wheel spacers later on this month ....I've seen ppl put 1 1/4 inch spacers on ( I know it will require a body mount chop up front ) but I was wondering if I could fit 1 1/2 inch spacers ....my buddy has them on his FJ & they fit but I'm pretty sure the T4R's wheel wells are a bit smaller ...I've just noticed that even with 285x70s the wheelbase looks to skinny for the stance I want ....also if I can't put 1 1/2 up front because it would be to much even with a body mount chop or whatever the reason could I just go with 1 1/4 up front &1 1/2 in back or would that cause any problems as far as tread wear goes?...what do you guys think

What size All Pro spacers are you getting? I have Spidertrax on mine (1.5" spacer) and I'm running GY Duratrac's size 285/70/17. I did not have to do the body mount chop, just trim the front fender liner so there is no rubbing. Some people moved it forward first, but I just cut that baby up. I also had to trim a little off my front bumper so there was no rubbing at full lock.

I might have some body mount rubbing at full flex but haven't had a chance to take her off road to test yet. You should be fine with 1.5" spacers.

Awesome thanks a lot I want to get 1.5s but I didn't know if 1.5's would fit in front because I know when u add wheel spacers it rubs more & I didn't know if is be able to trim enough up front to run em

Running 1.5" spacers here, no body mount rubbing with 255/75/17's. But lots of fender liner trimming

I'm thinking of adding 1.5" or 1.75" spacers all around on my 98 limited.
I find the limited flares look goofy with the 265/70/16"

I like the tires - just need a little more width on the wheelbase

I've got the 2" daystar suspension spacers so the height is nice, bit just a little skinny.

Do you think I'll encounter any rubbing?

Thx

Anyone have an idea of how a stock 4Runner with 1.75" spacers would look? Or any thoughts on rubbing?

I have a chance to pick some up fairly inexpensively. I was thinking about getting some FJ wheels or maybe some 1.25"s but, like I said, found a good deal. Can't find any pictures.

I intend to pop a small daystar 2.5/1.5 lift in before too long. So it probably wouldn't remain stock forever.

I don't really care for the 'tuck' the stock ride provides but I don't want to over compensate. Would love to see some pics if anyone has any.
