? on a front clunk when first rolling. Not driveline.

Have been searching for a clunk on my drivers side front and can't find it. It clunks after the driveline is engaged and you start rolling. It does it after you for you roll about 10-20 feet and then does not do it again. I have even put it in nutral and roll down my driveway and it still does it.

Thanks for the help this has been driving me nuts. Will a frozen or semi frozen caliper clunk when you take off? Btw it's a 07 V6 with 53k miles on it.

i had a similar issue when my inner cv boot split and slung all the grease out. i suggest to look at the cv joints on the axle.

Check the bolts on the front lower control arm. They were loose on mine and had your symptoms. By loose I don't mean you could turn them by hand. It needed just about 1/4-1/2 turn.
