All weather floor mats ( recomendation)
After being outside most of the day here in Houston and with all the rain that we have been having. I have some much moisture and mud on my OEM mats.
Any recommendations for all weather rubber mats.
I have been looking at the weathertech floor liners to purchase.
Does anyone have any experience with these or any other similar.
Thanks
Andy De.

Husky liners are nice and have been proven to last and I think can even hold up to an inch of water with no problem.

Andy De
From one Houstonian to another, rubber mats are a must here. I like Husky, but I am also impressed with the all-weather mats they sell at the dealer. You can find those on ebay fairly reasonable. Stay dry this weekend and let's hope we don't get hit by Emily on Monday.

Hi Andy De,
I have the Xtreme Catch All mats on my 4Runner and they seem to work real well for keeping my carpet dry. Had plenty of chances to test it in yesterdays downpour
The Xtreme mats don't have have as high of a raised edge as the Husky mats, but they seem to have enough to trap in water and dirt.
I have some pics of them posted on this thread if you are interested in how they look

Do they use the stock mat retention clips?

Unfortunately they don't. They come with their own clips that you screw down into the carpet. Personally, I've never used them. Supposedly the clips will not damage the carpet, but I didn't want to try it.
I haven't had any problem with my mats moving around without the clips. With their custom design, they seem to stick pretty well in place and without the clips I can easily pull the mats out to clean them

JVA4runner,
thanks for the link, the mats look good. I have a bit of homework to do tonight before I order a set tomorrow.
Thank you all for the feed back,
Have safe weekend,
Andy De.

Got some all weather mats for the Lexus from the dealer, they
came with the logo. Should be the same company for the
4 runner. Look like good mats

Actually I have both the Husky and the Xtremes. The Huskys are a bit more rugged, easier to clean and more utility type mats--the Xtremes look better and fit just as well but mine have an indoor/outdoor type carpet on them and for everyday use I stick with the Huskys. I do have the Xtreme in the back and love it over the Husky as things don't slide on it as nearly as much as the husky.
