Which axle napa new or napa reman.Maxdrives

I've been reading on here and some other websites about getting a new napa maxdrive axle. But it might be made in china, others have been saying to get a napa reman maxdrive because you MIGHT get an actual toyota reman axle. Someone over on 3rd gen says that toyota dealers get napa reman because they are just as good quality if they cant get oem fast enough.

I really don't think it matters what you go with. I haven't see a single failure of an axle that was the fault of the axle. An axle failure is almost always the result of boot failure or imporper installation. Just go with the least expensive you can get the quickest and don't worry about it.

You are thinking way too into this. Second thread on it already... As I said the first time, get a NAPA remanufactured axle. I just put on 2 new axles (shout out to aha) and they work great. The ride is better and they were only $120. Plus they come with a warranty. Just do that and don't worry about it!

I haven't had to replace an axle assembly in a few years. But when I did the local parts store carries Moog. Never had a problem with Moog axles or suspension parts. Not sure if they make an axle for the 4runner...but they are a good manufacturer of parts.

NAPA carries good parts...but we have local parts stores here in NH that offer good parts ..and usually cheaper then NAPA and definitely cheaper then the dealer.

I just bought this today at advanced auto parts. $78.00
getting it put in on Monday.
Both of my cv shafts had broken boots, I replaced the first one about a month ago, along with both the front calipers/rotors/pads. now I notice the wobble on the right side. this is at 156,000mi on a 06 v8 sport. The boots on these seem a LOT thicker than the stock. The first one I had replaced was taken by the dealership.(core)? They failed to mention that when I set the deal up. I get this one back, so I can take a look at why it went bad, the boot that is.
