I realized I never posted here.
I've had my GG 4R since 2005? I bough it used with about 60k on the clock. I ran it stock for a very long time. I wanted to keep things simple. I only ran through 2 pairs of Nitto Terra Grapplers.
I eventually lifted it with Bilsteins 6112s and 5160s, threw on 275 70 17 Cooper AT3s and some spacers. I recently added JBA UCA to fix the camber and since my ball joint boots were torn. I wheel when I can but generally don't do anything extreme so I don't have any extreme mods. I only add on mods that I really need. As of now, I don't need steel bumpers and all the works. I should get some sliders as I high centered once and bent the crap out of my running boards LOL. I spend a lot of time in the desert so the bilsteins have treated me well. I'm currently around 250k and running strong. I love my 4th gen 4R.
My brother-in-law (his 1st gen monty) and my 4R in Trona Pinnacles last year. We went to go take Milky Way photos. He took this photo of our rigs.

Best vehicle I've ever owned. Moved me from California to Manitoba. Been back to/from California once via Yellowstone trails. Next stop, Texas!

Best color for sure
But I'm probably biased like the rest of you here!

Hello my galactic gray fam! Got my sr5 couple weeks ago and loving it! 2wd v6 120k miles
Plans I think are to go wit a front level kit with black trd pro wheels Retaining my brand new stock nitto crosstrek 265/65/R17 tires.
Open to suggestions on best level kit for my setup or pics, builds, or links u can point me to.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Galactic Grey Mica Pin Stripe
Getting my silver 4Runner painted Galactic Grey Mica. What color pin stripe do you guys have on yours? I don’t think that the black pinstripe that I had on my silver paint will show up on the darker Grey color. Thanks in advance!

What year is your 4runner?
I don't think I've seen or read about a 4th Gen with factory pinstripes, other than from getting offroad or desert "pinstripes".

Mine is a 2006 Limited. Was silver with a black pinstripe. Since the paint has faded horribly, it’s in the shop getting painted the Galactic Grey Mica that I always originally wanted. Just wondered if I should have a pinstripe added or not.

Hmmm, mine is a 2004 and it's Titanium Metallic Silver but it doesn't have any pinstripes, maybe the pin stripes were a optional item.
