What is a fair price for 2012 FJ 4x4 spring coils? (Front/Rear)

I have a guy willing to sell his and told me to make an offer. They only have about 900 miles on them. He wants $149 for front and $149 for rear with the Tokico shocks included, but I don't need shocks for my 2005 4Runner v6 limited 4wd. I plan to use Bilstein 5100's.

Any ideas on a fair price for just springs? Will the shocks even work?

A fair price on the coils would be $100 for all 4. That's what most people on the forums have been buying them for. Krupnation just sold me both his rear coils for $25.

I would not pay more than $25/each coil. Also, those tokico shocks are useless, I completely agree with the 5100s.

Hope that helps!

Thank you. I'll make that offer to him and see what he says. I'm having a hard time finding FJ Springs. I thought they would be more widely available?

I have another guy selling these. "I also a fully assembled set 2010 TT front shocks/springs, rear springs and shocks. They are the Bilstein silver/blue boot. About 12K miles on them. The price will be $325 plus actuall shipping."

Is it worth it? I was going to just get the FJ springs and 5100 Bilstein's, unless these will do for my '05 4Runner? I just don't feel good about buying used shocks becuase there will be no warranty and I'm paying for labor to put them on and remove X-REAS..

Shipping is not included from California and shipping to east coast.

Started to get hits not on the springs. Thank you. I was in the wrong area looking and asking about them.

Hey Peroxide. What do you think about this?

Well if you have xreas, then you probably want to lift. In that case, my research has shown that there are a few options. You can do 5100s/fj coils or a Toytec lift kit.

Bilsteins from a trail teams are unlikely to provide much of a better ride than xreas. And if you did buy them, I would not spend more than $250-$300

I did buy the TT edition shocks and springs but I have an SR5, so they will be a better ride. Hope all this helps...

Thanks Peroxide. Will stick with the 5100's. Be glad you do not have X-REAS. It's $2000 to replace entire system and it's not really a good bang for your buck from Toyota. You can only replace shocks one time on X-REAS ($1320) installed. If one shock goes bad next time around you have to replace the entire system ($2000) even if the other 3 shocks are okay. I'm wishing my limited did not have it now, but it was a cool thought then buying new...
