Any Writeups/Tutorials on How to Do a Power Steering Flush?

Hey everyone,

I've searched on google, here and toyota120 and couldn't find a writeup or tutorial on how to do a power steering flush. Does anyone have a link? I think my power steering reservoir is contaminated (pretty dark) so I would like to flush it out and put some new fluids in there.

Have you checked the actual color of the fluid versus what it looks like from outside? I bought my runner used and thought I would get it changed since I have 110K on the truck.

But when I brought it to my local garage (who is a really trustworthy guy) he went inside and got a clean shop towel. Then pulled the cap with the dipper on it and wiped it on the rag. It was clear and red. He said no.

But if you looked at the fluid from the outside it looked dark brown and really dirty. That's why I brought it in.
