Looks great! I really like what the skid plates do for the appearance even. It just cleans it up down there.

My thoughts exactly. Just looking at the front of the truck it has this beefiness to it now. It just tied the front together so well imo.

If you still have the accessory faux skid plate that you yanked off there,...I'll take it.

Where did you guys order them from? The skids on the Man-A-Fre website don't have the 4Plus cutout and it says that they are for the FJ

I have half of it. Apparently its 2 pieces. I have the lower part. If that makes sense to you let me know and I’d be happy to get rid of it. Just cover the shipping.

I ordered it direct from man-a-fre. When i called they said they didn’t have any and wouldn’t be getting them in for 5 weeks! I was super bummed and told the guy if he get any sooner to call. 5 minutes later he called back and said they had one on the shelf in the back. I was pleasantly surprised when i opened it and saw the 4plus rather than the wolverine claw marks (only way I can describe it lol). Fits perfect if its supposed to be for FJ...?

Man-a-fre The website shows the older design. The 4th gen's and FJ's have the same engine skid plate. It sucks they dont make the V8 trans plate anymore, guess i was one of the last.

Ok, cool. So the 4Plus is whats coming on all the new skids? I definitely like it better than the "wolverine claw" as you called it

I just mounted mine this weekend. I ordered it late June, they told me that it would be about a month and I got it a week and a half later. It has the new design as well. It's time for a lift now. I destroyed my factory skids on the last run because I'm so low and this one makes it seem even lower to the ground. Granted, I could probably hit a boulder at 25 mph and it probably wouldn't even dent.

Hope this doesn't rain on your parade but I got the Expeditioneers skid for those who haven't seen it. It's essentially the same as the Man-A-Fre/4+ skid but has the degrees, minutes, seconds (º ' ") logo instead of the "4PLUS"
Here's a pic
