Looking for advice on a new wheel/tire & susp. setup

So my 06 4Runner has been in my hands for 45k miles now. That's enough time to run completely through a set of BFG A/T's and to wear out my stock dampers. I currently have FJ springs, a 1 inch coil spacer in the front, 1.5 inch wheel spacers, and 275/70/17's. I'm looking to get 2 inch lift springs to give me a 3/2(f/r) lift along with Bilstein 5100's and BFG M/T's. I would like to downsize to a 16 inch steelie because I like the look and the tires are about $200 cheaper. So I'd like to know if anyone could tell me what size and spec steelie I need to run with my sport edition, I am aware the calipers are bigger. I was planning on having Diamond Racing(www.diamondracingwheels.com : Custom Steel Wheels) build me custom wheels so that everything would fit perfectly, but first I need to know what wisdom T4-R's community has to offer. In the case I can't run 16's, does anyone know of any 17 inch wheels that are similar style to the DR ones? THANKS!

-Alex

16" SR5 wheels don't fit over the sport brakes, so it would be safe to assume that 16 steels wouldn't either. But I'd call the manufacturer and see if you could get a dumbed down print that shows the ID on the inside from the flange face to the inner rim area. Then take a tape measure and check... Least that is what I would do.

The ad on that website says they can build wheels up to 24.5", and can even beadlock up to 17" so why not just get 17s and not deal with the rotor problem?

You could also switch to the 12.5" rotors and calipers but I'm sure that would be more expensive.

Well I actually missed that they could build 17s, I was just looking at the chart in the bottom right and it only went up to 16. Thanks for pointing that out. I'm gonna give them a call about building the wheels today, but I need to know what width and backspacing/offset I should order? Can someone with aftermarket wheels chime in please.

Scratch that, they actually can make 17s, but they're so heavy they said they would never put them on a street car. So back to the drawing board, I'm either looking for aluminum wheels in that style or the magic offsets to make 16s fit.
