Icon c/o's and Metal tech LT installed
Icon extended travel coilovers with Metal tech rear LT. Rear rides noticeably stiffer than stock, front didn't change much.
Front is at about 38.2"
Rear 39"
Too lazy and don't quite care enough to bust out the dSLR so camera phone pictures will suffice.
The line was zip tied on very quickly as I was tired and in a hurry, will fix later.
Driver side bump stop drop sits out noticeably further than passenger, may have gotten the two sides mixed up as we were all very much tired.
Alignment numbers
And here's how it sits, no straight on shots for now as the pole is in the way.

Are you supposed to gain a lot more flex in the rear compared to running OME coils/shocks in the rear? I was looking at this setup on the Metal Tech site and I'm trying to decide if it is the way to go. Looks real nice by the way!

I can't directly compare to the OME setup as I didn't even really consider it when I was shopping around. There is a lot of info on this rear setup here though: Whats the deal with the long travel rear Suspension? - Toyota FJ Cruiser Forum
There's a nice picture of an FJ flexing on the last page of that thread.

Thanks man. It did cost quite a bit. I can't wait to try it out, sadly though we ran out of time on the install and couldn't get the extended brake lines on. So no crazy stuff for me as of yet.
Update - I fixed the bump stop spacer, it was on the wrong way around on the driver side. And as expected, on a full tank of gas, the driver side drops down 1/2".

Looks awesome! How much lift was achieved on the rear?
I'm VERY interested in the LT set-up for my 5th! Could you please, once you get the brake lines sorted, post some flex pic's and your impressions on this set-up. Also your thoughts/impressions on running without the rear sway bar and opinion on losing 3" of up travel.
Again your truck looks great! Thanks in advance.

Thanks, yours also looks fantastic. I'm unsure of the achieved height as I forgot to take before measurements, since we didn't start the install until around 8 pm. But I will say it didn't gain much at all over the previous 1.5" spacer + sagging stock coil. Once I get my brake lines on I'll try and find a place to flex out the rear.
You can try and gauge the before and after height in your head, not sure how well that will go, before/after:

Hey! Your truck looks good. I got MT long Travel kit on my 5th gen, it is only been two weeks and i'm hearing some dry squeaky noise from rear shocks and metal clank, i think from coils when going over speed bumps. Have you experienced anything like that? Thanks

Alex did you also do the heavy duty sway bar links? Others had an issue with them contacting the lower links and the E-brake cable, this may be the culprit causing the "clank". I didn't read through the whole thread but I think it is addressed HERE.

Thanks bud, checked out your build. Looks great. I too have a squeaking noise I haven't been able to locate. Its only audible when the vehicle is parked and off though, and while I'm jumping around in the trunk. It probably is one of the rear shocks. Not sure if this is anything like your problem. I had a clunk from the front sway bar moving itself forward and knocking against the skid plate, but that was fixed long ago.

Looks great. And slightly off topic, has anyone run the LT rear with a more standard front setup, such as OME or Toytec ultimate?
