Newbie just bought an 03. I have one that I thought was a seam because of location. I would love to get in on action, what do i need to do?
Anybody know the price to change it?

Mines splitting just above the radio where the dash lip meets the hard plastic.

Yeah, i just told them my situation where my truck has literally spent most of its life in our garage, unless i am driving it. Told them about the one that happened a few years ago and about the ones that have started sprouting up all over it in the last few months.

I have a 2005 4runner with 137k miles in Georgia, the heat can get bad here in the summer. I only have one crack in the dash, how big is the crack in your 4runner(s)?
The crack in mine is 2 inches.

I am sure heat has a little to do with the cracking, but think it is more because of the material they used in manufacturing. If you look back in the thread you will see that they range from 1" to half the width of the dash, probably even longer. We just need to stir the pot as much as possible to get them to do anything about it. it is going to cost all of us in the end trying to sell or trade in our trucks, unless they do something........anything

So is anyone calling and getting their claim numbers? I can't believe these pics, the dash on the '03 only had about two 1-inch long cracks.
