They are the Wrangler AT/S. I got these for a steal basicly. I was getting some service done at a Chevy Dealership on my work vehicle and they were piled up by the parts counter with $64 each listed on them. This was 8 months ago. I could not pass them up for that price. I bought them on the spot and stored them in my shed until now. I only have $305.00 total into them installed plus an extra $25 for an alignment check. That is only about half the retail price. TireRack list them for $128 Each for the P265/70/17.
They only had about 800 miles on them. A customer wanted michelins on his new Z71 and the dealer trade them out for him.
I also had a set of these before on a 96 1500 2x4 dodge and got well over 50k miles on the set and I am hard on tires. My buddy had a set on a 95 2500 Ext cab long box 4x4 dodge diesel (6000lbs+ truck) and got almost 80k miles on them.

Chevy special make ATS.
These are the special pattern Badyear makes for Chevy under the AT/S line. You can tell becuase the shoulders and tread pattern is completley different form the regular AT/S pattern. You only find this pattern on factory Chevy's like Avalanche.
Go to tirerack and you'll find about 50/50 on both extremes. People either love them or they hate them. They either last and have good traction or they're just crap; very little in between.
But for the price, what the heck. it's a steal...until you slide of the road in bad weather...then the price won't be so good.
They do look good though.

Why would he slide off the road in bad weather? These came on my Chevy I owned before the 4Runner and I thought they were great tires. Rode nice and smooth, still had at least half the tread left at 20k when I traded it. In all honesty, they are probably some of the best OE truck tires any manufacturer puts on aside from the Cross Terrains or BFG ATs---a lot better than the slew of Dunlops and Bridgestone HTs that seem to be everywhere. I think you will be happy with those tires.

Cuz the worse tires in the world has Bad year written all over them...
Like I posted, some think they're fine, many think they're crap...
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....rangler+AT%2FS
then go to http://www.1010tires.com/tirereviews...e_reviews.html
There seems to be a lack of consistency in Goodyear tires. While you will find someone somewhere who does not like some tire, even Revos and BFG AT Ko's got some detractors, you will find Badyear AT/S to be consistent in being inconsistent, and that makes consistency of quality a high issue.
If you had good results, good for you. I for one take a dim view of Badyear after using their RT/S. Just junk.

I for one have nothing bad to say about them. I made it through 3 Michigan winters with a 2WD truck without any problems. The Tire dealer I had mount them for me said he had a set of the REVOs on Newer F-250 super-duty and they wore out very quickly. He owns the shop and has a set of Goodyear Wrangler AT/S on his own truck currently. I have had nothing but good results from Goodyears. The RT/S you speak of I had on a 95 4X4 Blazer and got 65K miles on them and I drove it through a couple Michigan winters also. I think people have forgotten TRUCKS ARE NOT CARS!!!!!! They will never handle like a car, ride like a car, or stop like a car. Our 4Runners still have a full frame and soild axle in the back. Most cars and a good many toy SUVs (to include the DORF Explorer IRS) have 4 wheel Indep. Susp. The AT/S never left me stuck ever. Your entitled to your opinion and I am entitled to mine. On these tires we will never agree. So I am resolved to respectfully disagree with you.
When it comes down to it I got a much better tire than the Craplops for a great price. If they wear out or go out of round in 30 -40k miles I will not feel bad since I could have paid over $600.00 for them. (I also read the reveiws on tirerack.com)

FWIW this is how the Goodyear Wrangler ATS's rate on tirerack
Dry 8.1
Traction Wet 6.9
Traction Hydro 7.1
Resistance Snow 7.3
Traction Cornering 7.0
Stability Steering 7.2
Response Ride 7.1
Comfort Noise 6.9
Comfort Tread Wear 7.1
595 surveys submitted 19,853,087 miles reported
Thats a lot of miles, so the tires must be ok
