Oh Yeah..
So I finally got my 4runner today!
I had been looking out here in Colorado (100 mile radius search) for over three months -- prior to moving here I was looking, and overall have been searching for over a year. Well I finally found it -- an 06 limited (with the 18s) in SRP. The forum now has another salsa!
As far as the mod bug I'm thinking weather tech visors, digi-fit mats, window tint, valor tip, leveling kit/ possible daystar 2.5/1.5 lift.
It's great to finally have a 4runner, being a member here at T4R

Congrats on the new ride! You'll appreciate it even more when the snow starts to fly here in the next couple of months....
The first two things I did when I bought my 4Runner was buy a set of WeatherTech floor liners and tinted my windows to match the rear. I'd pass on the Valor Exhaust tip and cut off the resonator (doesn't change the sound) and have the exhaust rerouted out the side behind the rear, passenger side tire. It helps with the sulfur smell if you ever drive with the rear window down and if you ever decide to go off-roading, it prevents your resonator and exhaust tip from getting banged up. I have a write-up on it in my build thread. The cost for labor and the new exhaust tip was under $100 and not much more than what you would spend on the Valor exhaust tip.
You can also see what my 4Runner looked like with a 1" leveling spacer and with the 3/2 OME lift (which gives a very similar lift as the Daystar you're considering).

great posts guys and thanks for all the welcomes! I am desperately needing to get pictures; however, it has been so hectic I haven't had the chance. I'll get her waxed up soon, and post pics afterwards. I'm currently trying to think if I want to add-a-fuse for the radar detector (escort 9500) or just tap it into a 14v ignition powered wire.. I also need to figure out where I'm going to mount the mute button -- I'm thinking about dremelling out the one blank switch where the seat heaters/ dac buttons are for it..
I would also love to meet up around CO and hit some trails.. Probably some easy stuff to start; not sure when I'll be doing a leveling kit/ lift. G.I.G. thanks for the link, I will definitely be checking that out.
Thanks again everyone!

Congrats on the new ride! There's always one group or another getting together to hit the trails... probably see you out there soon. What town are you in?

SRP= Salsa Red Pearl, its a rather rare color. Congrats on the new ride, just make sure you check the 4HI / 4LO actuators before winter hits to make sure they work.

Yup made sure to check them on my test drive.. Works perfectly. Only thing I haven't checked out is the center diff lock, but that's okay

Cycle them often and remember, without locking the "center diff", you can drive on pavement as it's AWD. About once or twice a month, I'll throw mine into 4HI on the way to work one day and then put it back in 2 the next day just to keep things moving. Near my house, I'll put it into LO at least once a month and lock and unlock the center diff. The preferred method would be to hit the trails often! ;-)
