Not sure what the largest you can is, but there are members running 35x12.5 (315/70R17) on stock wheels with wheel spacers. Anything larger than 275/70R17 will rub the UCAs without wheel spacers or lower offset wheels.

So the largest I could run would be 275/70R17 without having any lift or spacers?

So I can jump from a 265-65-17 to a 275/70R17 and no issues?

Oh... no, 265/70R17 in most tires.

I thought you just meant in general.

You should check out the Suspension FAQ sticky at the top of the forum.

lol maybe I am confusing you or myself here. lol.

I currently run 265-65-17 and I want to know what is a bigger size tire that I run that will cause no rubbing. I want to know if what bigger tire sizes can I go up to that is larger than what I currently run.

So 265-65-17, what are bigger sizes I can run with no rub?

Again I have no lift or any mods.

As I said, in most tires 265/70R17 is the largest you can run. More aggressive 265/70s (BFG A-T, Goodyear Duratrac, mud tires) will rub.

I was thinking about going with a General Grabber AT2 in size 265-70-17.

But BVC your saying I could go with an AT in 255-70-17's?

255/75/17 it's taller than the 265/65/17 but skinnier...generally get better mileage than the 265/70/17. but yeah like others have said the 265/70/17 is the biggest you can go without lift.

I know bfg's will rub in that size so go with yokohama geolanders! My father inlaw has 70k on his set and they have been fantastic for him!

265/70/17 BFG T/A KO on my stock 4Runner and have no rubbing anywhere even when flexed

Only time I have ever had any rubbing was taking a sharp corner on a washboard dirt road and I hit a pot hole pretty hard and it rubbed something pretty gnarly but I couldn't find any damage.
