'04 V6 LTD 4wd purchased May'04, currently at 33,8xx miles.
BTW: I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I'm curious how many miles do you guys/gals put on your 4R during the 1st year of ownership? I'll start, I did 30,000 miles during the 1st year. Since then, I've moved from So Calif to Chicago and have been using public transportation daily. She's driven mostly on weekends nowadays...she needs the rest

No problem, that's a good question.
Bought it with 12,000-ish on 12 August 2003. From 13 October 2003 to 30 June 2004 my wife put 22,000 miles on it commuting to work. Thank goodness she's not doing that 30 minute one-way drive anymore!

2002 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4WD
Delivered on a flatbed to my house with: 8 miles
As of tonight it has 89250 miles, good, long, hard miles.
Gotta love Toyota!!
Ford or Chevy wouldnt have held up as well to the abuse I put my truck through daily!

I use my 4Runner primarily for weekends, trips with more than 2 people and pleasure driving. My 2002 Sentra is my 'beater' vehicle and serves as my commuter car. It is paid for and is much better on gas mileage than my 4Runner is.
I leased my 4Runner and am limited to 36,000 miles (12k each of the three years) total -- or they'll hose me when I turn it in. I am fortunate that I have another car to drive, as I easily top 20,000 miles a year.
Even with a trip to NY and another to Michigan, I still only have 7000 miles on it.
