Suspension Upgrade

Hi,

I;ve been looking at the 100's of pages of tire/lift thread and like the most up-to-date info.

I have spacers 2.5/1.5 with 265/65/18 tires.

I was thinkinn of going with the toytec Ultimate 3" fpr my 2007 V8 limited. I really don't want to regret my decision.

I am also planning on chosing the ARb Deluxe bumper with winch. I've check out a bunch of other and had ARBs an TJM's on other vehicles which impressed me.

What coil over package would you do for 3" lift? Also, which UCA would you go with.

I'm going to order this week and want the best bang for the buck and most relialble.

Please let me know of any Coil over setups/kits you might recommend other than toytec iif others are made better. I do understand some require rebuilding which i do not want to get in with.

I am running 265/65/18 BFG AT s which are quite new. I just need to know if this size will be ok or if i need to up grade and if i would need spacers or when i would need spacers.

I REALLLY appreciate replies. I have used the Search function so those can be left out.

Thanks very much

A few options I would check out are:

Icon coilovers. The stage 1 kit is pretty nice.

RadFlo coilovers. These are avaliable in the popular OW valving.

I have the TT ultimate kit, camburg uniball UCA's and a demello bumper (probably lighter than the ARB) and I couldn't be happier.

The demello bumper weighed in at 83 lbs, so it is light. It only squated my suspension an 1/8 of an inch up front.

There are a lot of guys running the ultimate kit with a bumper that don't have any problems, but if the ARB is heavy and you plan for a winch the Radflo kit with the 700 lb springs is probably where you want to be.

I spoke with radflo and all of the 4runner systems run the OW specs, so you can call them up and order and know you are getting the correct valving if you decide to go that route.

What are the OW specs?

What are the best UCA's to get? I'm guessing they are needed to align properly?

Only thing that worries me about the Radflo and Icon is that you have to rebuild the shocks after a certain amount of use like race products..

Anyone have TT Ultimate 3" with ARB and winch?
