2 Quick questions

hey all. I have 2 quick questions, I checked the manual and searched but could not find an answer.
I have an 03 V6 limited
1. Are the little white/clear "lenses" in the cupholder for lights? and if so does the entire console need to be removed to replace the bulbs?

2. I am looking for the lens for the drivers side map light. I checked at the dealer but was told i need to buy the whole light/homelink/sunglass holder unit. Can any one suggest a place to look? I am thinking a junk yard may be my only option, but figured I'd ask.

Thanks in advance

Yes, the cup holders have lights. As for the map lights, you just pop off the lens and replace the bulbs. Many people here opt for the LED route as it gives a modern appearance while increasing light output. Just something to consider since you need to change the bulbs anyway.

There are lights, thank you I guess I'll change them when I do the lights behind the heat control knobs.

Both of the map lights work, I changed all of the door and overhead lights to led's already. But the map light lens works as the switch with a small plastic tit on the inside that pushes the button, that small piece is broken. I can pop the lens out and turn the light on but thats a pain in the ass.

The dealership wants like $149 for the whole unit, a little stupid for a $2 plastic lens.

Thank again for the cupholder help
