That looks great man!!!! I was considering installing my light bar inside my stock bull bar, but I might have to try this out!!!
I've been looking all over the the mesh grille, do you recommend any brand?

With the satoshi it should get more air flow than stock anyway so I don't think it's an issue.

Home Depot sells a smoked plexiglass. I bought a sheet and cut it with a razor and straight edge to size then used a strip of black tape and zip ties for now. I wanted it to make sure it was removable easily on the trail.
As far as light output, I'm sure it reduced it by at least 10% but it is worth it for the overall look and I can take it off if I need.

It is a custom piece of wire I used when I did the 2006+ facelift. I installed the light bar far enough back that it doesn't touch. The rear of the light almost touches the horns and radiator tubing.

I finally got it all worked out to hide my light bar behind the satoshi grill. I love the stealth look! The mount is kinda ghetto, but it's all I could come up with to get it in the right spot.
Also, the lens it held on by a strip of electrical tape up top and 3 zip ties. One at each end and one in the middle. That way I can remove it if I ever need just a little more light output and put it back on later.
The mount
Before the smoked lens
After the smoked lens
Let there be light!

looks real good with the smoked lens'.... those grill would look better without the toyota imo..

No, just a reflection on the camera lens.

Looks great, did you have any issues on tuning and connecting the wires? Can you post on how to wire it to the battery and switch inside?
