I always like to see Coach Q do well, except when you're playing the Blues.

We'll see. But '00-'01 and '01-'02 trophy winners (aves and wings) also won the cup.
On topic: nice idea on the overhead access for your cargo box. It seems that people forget that if your battery is dead, you can't open the hatch (unless you make a switch mod thing.)

Great looking truck, dude. And congrats on the baby! I've got white and I am looking to plasti dip the same places you did. Have you ever thought about doing the door handles? They're on my list to do, as well

Other than the 4Runner, this is my little side project. I bought this utility trailer on craigslist pretty cheap and I’m (very slowly) working on rebuilding it and making it camp worthy. But with all the preparation for the kiddo, work and everything else, I haven’t had any chance to work on it. I’m hoping, once it warms up and the days get longer, that’ll change.
And here is a sneak peak of what is on deck once I receive a couple more packages and get a free/warmish weekend.
Thanks for looking, stay tuned for more updates and lots more pictures!

Congratulations on Jack your new family member!! I see a future offroad buddy.

I've considered doing the handles, but not sure how that would hold up.

Yep, he's my little buddy. This is the face he made when I told him I took a little cruise without him this afternoon.
Anyway, on to the shots from this afternoon's cruise.

Looks good, i like that net.
I did the PFran LED kit too, yours is a little different though. I had bulbs much like the license plate bulbs for my front map lights. I like the set up you have MUCH better. I love my LEDs.
Your 4Runner is one of the reasons i stayed with just my Daystar set up. So clean and simple.

Thanks, the bulbs are bright, but the panels provide even more light (almost too much). The only problem is when you instal it, there is no place to attach the 3M sticky back because the reflector shroud that helps reflect the standard bulb is not flat and it's in the way. I kinda tried to remove it, but it was stuck in there pretty good and I didn't want to force it.

Holy crap man, I've been missing out. Haven't had a ton of time for T4R as of late.
First off, CONGRATULATIONS on the arrival of your son!!! What a good looking boy! Hope that baby and momma are both doing well!
Also, thank you for all the new parent tips you've been keeping me posted on. We did our own shopping and researching on car seats and while we liked the Graco stuff for a bit, we'll be buying Britax just like you suggested.
I'm adding the Raingler barrier to the list. I need one pretty badly. I've got one of those metal expanding tube barriers to keep the dog in the back, but I hate it. I don't have it in there right now. It just never worked as well as I wanted it to. I modified it to work a little better, but I like this solution a lot better. My buddy Bobby (@Darklight) has one in his truck and I like it a lot.
Truck looks gorgeous as always Jeff! Take care man.

Thanks, we're all doing well. I know what you mean about missing out, the time I have to mess around online is far more limited than it once was. The Britax stuff really is top notch. I didn't do a lot of comparing, but I figured I'd trust my wife's judgement.
The Raingler net is nice, the part number is the FJBN. They just revamped the design, which I think I got, but yours may be slightly different if you order it a couple months down the road. I'm not thrilled about the upper attachment points, but I got creative and made due with what I had.
I hope you and your wife are coming along nicely and feeling well throughout the process.

lol....not to hijack the thread, but i know exactly what you guys mean. When our twins were born, almost 6 years ago, i didn't have time for anything and was off the forum for a few years. Now that they are older it is so much easier. The Britax seats are top notch and usually have, or at least at the time they had, the best safety ratings. When the kids went to the forward facing seats they got to where they could buckle themselves, which was really nice. When they switched to the booster seats they were not able to do it by themselves because the buckles were so far down in the seats. About that time i found out about Toyota having these extenders and giving them to you free if you requested them. Photobucket is down right now so i can't get to the link, but you can see them on post #102 on this thread.

Got a couple more pictures of the cargo net from the rear view mirror to show the blind spots.
And, here is a night time shot of the LED Swap
