Question V8 Transmission Cooler Upgrade (Questions)

Hello all!

I'm looking at upgrading my transmission cooler on my '03 4runner V8, which came stock with the small aux cooler up front. I've got a Scangauge to watch temps and I'd like to see them a little lower. I typically see around 170-175ish on the highway when cruising (this is pretty normal) but it can get up to 190 or so in the city during summer. This is with fresh Idemitsu TLS fluid.

I've already purchased a Hayden 679. but I guess I went one size too big because I simply could not find a non-janky location to mount it with the mounting kit I bought from them (basically just bar stock with holes).

What I'm looking for is hopefully some pre-made brackets to make the install a little cleaner/easier, or a full replacement that would be easy enough to fit.

The options I'm looking at that MIGHT work are:

Mishimoto FJ Cruiser/Tacoma Trans Cooler - looks like it may not work due to routing of the lower cooler line potentially interfering with the "rod" that juts out under the stock trans cooler to hold the forward metal AC line in place.

Mountain Passes Off-road mounting plate for Hayden 678 - requires a bit of work to relocate the horns, but instructions are for the GX470 so it could be slightly easier/harder to install. This looks like the best option, but it's on the higher-priced side.

KAON FJ Cruiser or Prado 120 Trans Cooler mount - fits the Hayden 678 as well. Found this through some searching. A guy on youtube fit it on his GX470, and did not have to re-route his horns and it only required drilling one additional hole in the bracket, much easier. However, it's tough to tell from the video but I am guessing it may run into some interference with the same "locating rod" that holds the AC line in place. Here's the video: Lexus GX470 Transmission Cooler Install! EASY!! - YouTube

Thanks! And sorry for the wall of text, but wanted to make sure the forum knew I did my research, lol.

This is the cooler I'm currently running on my 03 V8. Works well. I have a Koyo radiator that does not have the internal cooler for the trans so this one is doing all the work and keeps temps low, even on the freeways.

I use the OEM small cooler for the power steering now.

I am thinking about upgrading that to a slightly larger cooler but it's going to take a little more work to fit due to the larger size.
