It does a great job of lighting up everything from about 10' in front of your car onward. The fog lights fill in the rest. In my last photo, the flood part of the combo is really diluted by the intensity of the spot portion, but I promise that it does a good job all around.

I'll get some pics tonight of the adjusted position. I had to modify my brackets a little and raise the bar 3/16" in order to be able to rotate the bar down without hitting the roof.

Stay tuned.

Cool. I have the same 40" bar on my rood in combo pattern and it does a fantastic job lighting everything up.

I'm curious how you adjusted the brackets to raise the bar up? Have you had a chance to snap any pics yet? Thanks!

Best price I've come across for a 40" totron is $240, can the group buy beat that?

Not sure why my previous post was removed, the question is still valid.

Good Share.
I'm gonna to get one cheaper. There are a lot of manufacturer now involved in making the similar light, for LED now is hot.
Only if the LEDs they use the same brand, the metal parts are all made in aluminum, so there is no worry. The key is the driver inside they use which decide the life span. Plan to find one with good comment record, that will give credit.

@Got2xlr8 where did you find that price? I think one group buy that happened over Labor Day weekend was around 300.

I'm glad this thread was revived as well. Making me re-think locating mine from the front bumper plan to up top. like the idea of triangle'n to the sweet spot. Don't have the 40" tho, might look funny... will Jimmy it up and see
