Zero Point Calibration on 04 V8

Hello,
Had CEL light as well as VTRAC off and VTRAC lights last week. Brought truck to Autozone who ran a scan. Ended up being loose gas cap....not me......
Anyways, CEL went out and VTRAC lights are off every time I start truck, but as soon as I put it in gear and move, they come on again.

I want to perform zero point calibration. I read about shorting terminals 4 and 14 on computer socket under dash. But this was for a V6. Is the procedure the same for a V8? It says to short them 4 times within 8 sec of turning key to on.

Would that be the same for the V8?

Thanks
Dave
