Missing cover under steering wheel?

this is a 2006 V8

I bought this used tho, today I checked the area near the brake pedal, found out there isnt a cover or something to protect those cables, etc.

check the pic

is there a cover missing on my 4runner?

I don't know why that's there to be honest with you, but there is no missing cover or anything; not even a screw or bolt that goes there.

I think you have a missing footrest pedal and the side panel.
I was also wondering about that hole and assumed there was a missing cover. Thanks for bringing this up!

UPDATE: just noticed the footrest laying on the floor in the pic =) I guess the side panel isn't missing too =))
