I bought my 04 SE T4R about 6 months ago. Since then the sickness has gone full blown. By sickness I mean T4R.org. I am here everyday lurking, learning and beggining to to mods slowly to my truck.

Im really new at trying to post a build so if it comes out lame....sorry!

I started out first and foremost with having to install a new deck, speaker and amp. The original JBL speakers/deck and turned to garbage so I installed the Pioneer XBH1500DVD with all new Kicker Speakers all the way around and a Kicker 10" sub with 210 watt Kicker amp. Its not a ground pounding system but sounds alot better than it did!!

I also did alot of researching everyones tire preferences and I found a great deal on the BFGoodrich Ruggeds 265/70/17. I had them installed today! I also took off the running boards today! Its in in the starting phase of becoming a real truck. I cant wait for a day off to head out to the desert and see what it can do with some real tires!

I also put all new tint all the way around. 20% on front and 50% all the rest. Needed dark tint for my baby boy so hes not balsted with heat and light. Also helps that it looks bad ass! I need to order a T4r.org sticker from momo ASAP!

I still have alot of work to do. I really want a lift(Daystar) and a roof rack. I cant really go to overboard as I have a newborn baby! The cool thing is as I am doing more and more with my truck my wife is liking it more and more and really wants me to mod more out!

Looks great and a nice start. When I installed my lift it ended up costing my under $500.00 in parts. I picked up my FJ coils from a member on the FJ Cruiser forum. I bought my DS spacer kit and 5100 shocks from Wheeler's Off Road. They had good prices, quick shipping and awesome to deal with.

It's hard once you get the bug.... lot's of things you can do to the 4Runner's.

Paint your wheels black and leave center caps chrome!

Yeah there is soooo many things I want to do to it! Really looking forward to the lift and suspension. I have seen a few guys with kick ass drawer system in the back of their trucks, that would be a killer addition. Still havent really hit the desert with it yet either.

Anyone in Tucson AZ wanna meet up and show a rookie some cool trails???
