I love the white with blue accents. How is this done? The blue accent part? Paint?
If I were to attempt this, start with center console first before attempting the cluster?

Thanks! Do you know how they painted them? I'm assuming they painted the back with a translucent blue paint? I really like how it looks but if you paint it, it's forever blue.

I wonder if you can put blue tent or light filter behind it if you cut it to size? I might have to try that.

I'm trying to plan this mod and when I look at the pictures of the LED locations it makes it look like the numbers and ticks are lit up from the same LED but this pictures seems to mean that's not true.

Does anyone have a picture of the LEDs that specifically light the ticks or know how many LEDs it'll take for that section?

I have no problem doing this mod, but this is my daily driver so I want to make sure I have everything before I start so I can finish in one go.

Thanks in advance for any help!
My guess is this: Fluorescent Speedo & Gauge Needle Restoration Paint - HiPo Parts Garage

I have some of the paint mentioned above, that's what I used on my needles.

Can you access the back of the graphics to put a filter in? I don't want to paint the face of it for the reason mentioned about it looking even.

And for the needles I take it you have to take the red off then paint the blue on the back?

Yes you can access the back, will need to take needles off to do that! Not hard use a fork and pull up.

Yes you need to scrap factory orange off. Do you have a limited? Cause they are red and a little different

@S p a r k y thanks for the picture. I think I'm going to try placing a blue light filter behind it. That should work as long as the lights not dispersed within the front gauge panel itself.

I just got an 04 v8 4x4 Sport. making a list of mods for my project . A few AC control lights are out so going to replace those and no probably the gauge lighting too. The only section I really don't want to do is the steering wheel LEDs. We'll see.

I thought the limited clusters had more leds on the perimeter instead of the few in the middle of each gauge on the sr5 and sports.

Steering wheel is just as easy as cluster, if you can do one the other is same. Just unhook battery loosen screws on either side of wheel. You can lift the center of steering wheel up on top of steering column, with plenty of airbag wires left and it wont explode. Very easy.

Good to know. The air bag is what makes me hesitant.

I'd also be interested in having the center console/multifunction display with blue lights. Is this still being offered?
