Is driving 07 T4R with the parking brake shoes on, only hurting the parking brake’s

Is driving 07 T4R with the parking brake shoes on, only hurting the parking brake’s shoes? It always happens sooner or later (too light to tell driving). Thanks for the “Nice Honest Comments”!

In the sense that you are only burning up your shoes and not the pads, yes. You could cause the rotors to warp due to the excessive heat, but that would probably be the worst you would have unless you ran it for several hundred miles and went metal to metal on the ebrake then you would need to either resurface or replace the rotors.

I only went 8-10 mi 1-3 clicks which shows no resistance as a harder set. That Light never got my attention vs the brake when I noticed I had to release it first to set it “Hard As My Goal/Reminder”.
