Need Advise

I have trying to find info for a while on Winter Tires and Rims for my 05 V8 Limited. Most people say that the 16" Steel rims will not fit my truck. Some say the only truck they will not fit is the V8 Sport.

My delema:

I have a set of 245/70/16 Blizzaks mounted on a 16" steel rim. (Was for my previous Pathfinder) I tried this RIM on the truck and it fits perfect on the front or the rear. (No caliper clearance issue) This is not the exact size for the truck though. The exact match would be the 265/70/16

Do any of you think this will cause any problems? The tires are almost new and I would hate to have to buy another set of Blizzaks because they cost an arm and a leg.

I am looking for advise.

Cheers,

The brake size was discussed in a thread a few months ago. I actually measured the rotors on my 03 Sport and my dad's 05 Limited and they were the same size. We assumed that all 4Runner's shipped with 17'' rims came with the oversized brakes. I honestly don't think your new rims will fit.
