Airbag light/ Passenger light "off"

As the title states, I have my airbag light on on my dash. In addition, I have the passenger airbag light showing "off" no matter if there is no load, a full sized person, or a smaller person in the seat. I've tried pulling the fuses associated with the airbags, tried disconnecting the battery to reset the computer, and also disconnected and re-connected all plugs underneath the passenger seat, all to no avail. Any suggestions would be very helpful! (05 v6 2wd runner).

Obviously you have a problem in the system. Take it to the dealer. You've done everything I would have.

Did you ever get this problem solved? I am having the same issue now.

Yea I ended up going to the dealer and had them "reset" it (I guess). If I remember they feebly tried to charge me for a "service fee" but I just told them no and it magically went away... Hope that helps!

I'm at the Toyota dealer now to get the smart stop technology recall done. I told them about the airbag light and they said the sencor probably just needs to be recalibrated/reset. I asked if they would be able to do it while there already connected to the computer and they said yes, but for $115. I said No!

HOW HARD CAN IT BE FOR THEM TO PRESS (RESET)!?

What a bummer! Here's your chance to try another local dealer sounds like! Especially since you have a very compelling reason for the new dealership to waive fees to earn some goodwill/ loyalty from you!
