Front skid plate bolts on 03'SR5 4x2 V8

As you all know, taking the front skid plate has to be removed for oil changes. As such, I was pulling it off to paint it and found all the bolts were stripped... Looking further I realized the nuts were totally stripped.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Any ideas are greatly appreciated

Thanks,

Jesse

This is a common problem usually resolved with a product called a "nutsert":
M8 x 1.25 6H .70-3.8 Large Flange Ribbed Nutsert Steel | Fastenal
Also use new m8 x 1.25 bolts (splurge for grade 8). There are some good links on the web for how to install nutserts properly, don't have the links handy but just google... Read up on them and all will go well.
Good luck!
