Talked to my Toyota dealer "never seen that problem" bring it in and we will trouble shoot for $250.00. Any ideas where to start, I pulled seat and unplugged what I thought was the seat switch, no help.

The connections are under the seat. Unbolt the battery, leave overnight and hope for the best?????

Did you check your warranty guide to see if that is still covered under warranty? I remember the older Hondas/Toyotas covering seat belts for life (normal wear and tear included, not abuse and/or tampering). I noticed that my 12' is now only covered for ten years, but even if it was ten years your '05 should still be covered. I would look into seeing if you can get it covered under warranty since it is some what safety related. I mean technically, your 4runner is telling you to not wear your seat belt right???

Did you try putting the seat belt from the passenger seat into the driver's receptacle? See if that keeps the light out?

I have heard of buckles failing and triggering SRS lights on Hondas before. I suspect the technology in Toyotas are not that much different.
