Need help with missing part

Well I am tying to figure out what I am missing in my ignition switch. 2008 SR5. Here is a picture of what a normal switch looks like. Sorry this was the best ignition switch picture I could find.

Here is mine

I am missing the black ring around the metal part of the key switch that says "acc, on, run". Is it a trim piece, or is it part of another part? Not sure why mine is missing. Maybe it was broken into? Any help would be appreciated.

OK I went to the dealership today and after some searching I found out that I am missing this part: 89783-60111 - OEM Toyota AMPLIFIER, TRANSPOND. Now I need to figure out why I can start it with the transponder key that I have. I bought an extra key from Amazon, and if I can't program it I will know why. I will look behind the glove box and see if all the other components are there too.

Well I got my transponder key cut at the dealership today, and suprise I dont need to program it! It started the 4R right after I came out of the dealership. Weird. I do know that the base SR5 did not have the engine immobilizer and whatever I am missing on the ignition I just wont worry about.

I thought all Toyotas with that Key design had immobilizers... That may explain another member's 4Runner being stolen.

I'm pretty sure mine has an Immobilizer. Haven't checked with a different key, but I already have 3 chipped keys

Well another piece of the puzzle has fallen into place. After I got my key cut, I remembered that I had gotten another key fob from the salesman. It was not a Toyota fob. Apparently the previous owners had an aftermarket remote start installed. I assume that in order to get it to work, they had to remove or disable some Toyota parts.
Thoughts...?

The valet key is probably secured under the dash, in which sends the signal to the immobilzer. Probably why your new key did not need programming.
