I don't understand the questuon. What are you trying to do. Shocks? I put bilstein 5100s on a vehicle exactly like your with good results. Stock. No lift.

just looking for what the stock ride height should be. is it the 19 front 21 rear for the 4runner with the rear airbags or is different for the rear due to the ras?

Was looking for height numbers and happy I stumbled onto this thread.
Just installed the Toytec Ultimate kit:
Front: 23.5"
Rear: 24"

Originally installed, the fronts were at 23" and 24" so I adjusted the coilovers to their average.

@BackOff what are your overall thoughts on the Rancho Quicklift? I haven't heard much about them on here but it is definitely a nice price point for an easy to install full unit.

EDIT: Just read your build thread so I see what you said there.

Right just thought I would add.

I like them for the most part, good for a stock'ish 4runner.
The price and the dampening adjustments 1-9, is nice.
I am always adjusting the shocks on the fly due to road or runner weight.

Be nice if they had different coil spring rates available. Or a threaded shock body so you could crank the coil down for some extra weight.
They don't like the heavy front bumper but it works, just softer than I would like.

Just remember as you lift you may start to need other items.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Extended rear sway-bar links. Needed. Some have removed the rear sway bars.
Front sway-bar relocate. Can just yank the thing off too.
Upper control arms, I think the consensus is over 3" on that. I lost the castor I wanted, (twitchy steering) so did the UAC's.
Extended rear brake lines. I didn't do that...yet.
ZPC, zero point calibration. ...I need to do that still.
Diff drop. some do some don't.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hive mind may chime in. I am just repeating what I have read.

When you pull the sway bars off you kinda need to drive more like your in a van, preload the suspension before corners helps, no sudden jerky steering wheel input. In my limited experience that is.

/cheers

08 v6

F 21.5" (5100 @1.75 clip stock springs)

R 24" (5100 w/ Toytech Superflex)

Going for some aftermarket springs so I can set 5100 at 0.

Really not sure the point of this thread? To see how your truck measures up to other's? Bragging rights?

With adjustable coilovers its pointless to compare.

With a non-adjustable setup it is slightly more relevant only if a noob wants to compare numbers to see if they installed it correctly.

Most seem to measure the distance from ground to fender.
Tire size will make this different.
Hence the true measure of a suspension lift would be from axle center to fender and the point of this thread.

We are all a NOOB the first time at anything...

Does anyone have measurements for the metaltech rear LT kit, from center of hub to fender?
Thanks
