V8 headers
Count me in! I already bought the JBA headers for the tundra 4.7 v8 and custom cut them to fit around the steering arm on the drivers side. It worked well and sounds great but my welds are cracking again and i don't have enough material left in the stainless to properly re weld.
I hope that these thorley headers actually come through!

Resurrecting an old thread... was any progress made on these headers? I'm dealing with crack/leaks on both of my manifolds, and the thought of $2000 just for parts doesn't sit too well with me if Toyota hasn't improved the design at all.

How was install?

I think it is perfect for the 30+ crowd with children who want a performance sound but don't want to rattle junior's first tooth loose with a super aggressive exhaust. It definitely won't be mistaken for stock at idle, but is only loud when you really press on the pedal. No drone!
I hired someone to do the install on the headers. It was an all day event with an experienced exhaust shop. I personally wouldn't attempt it myself and I am fairly handy.
If you can get by with it, I would also do a custom y-pipe. I've heard that really opens her up....it is definitely the choke point of my exhaust right now.

Was able to work a deal for St Patty's weekend on Gibson exhaust! Sale ends 4/22 Tuesday. This is a great deal and for those that have the headers, your truck is going to be amazing with this.
Both the stainless and aluminum are being offered at a great deal. Full warranty since we are an "Authorized Gibson Dealer", and lifetime warranty on stainless. Those that want a great system at a great price, order soon!

Has anyone with a 05-09 put 03-04 DT headers on their truck? Someone on here a few guys did it, but I can't find the post....
The reason why people do this is because the 05-09 headers are $120 more, and you can remove the air injection. I'm trying to advise someone that's doing this install can't find who is was that installed 03-04 headers without air injection on their 05-09.
