Has power but will die

Alright I'm not to vehiculary inclined at all. I've been having the same problem for about a 1 1/2 year or so. If I turn the ignition to just have power but not running and have the ac running, doesnt matter what setting HI or LOW, it just shuts some power off. I still have dash lights, not sure about headlights. so when I go to start the engine all that happens is "clicking" like its trying to start but just wont start. The only way to get the engine to turn over and start is to jump satart it. I have replaced: alternator, serpentine belt, air filter, and spark plugs. Hoping for help, at least suggests. 2004 toyota 4runner SR5 Sport Utility 4D V6, 4.0 Liter Four-Wheel Drive about 112000 miles

let me see if i have what you are saying, you are trying to run everything in the vec. including the AC with the key turned to on but the vec. not started? for how long a time? doesnt matter how new the battery is, if its a very long time & you need a jump start, you are running the battery down too low for it to turn over.

I wouldn't say I'm running everything off the battery. The ac is the only thing running. The radio and lights interior and exterior lights are off. But your saying even running just the ac off the battery for 15 mins is to much.

if you are going to run things off just battery power for long periods, id suggest getting a deep cycle battery, a regular battery can get damaged & not hold a charge well if drained down alot.

Alright makes sense. I'll have to look on to a deep cycle battery then and stop running it like that so much.

Any idea as to why when it is running it seems like it struggles to stay running? Feels like something maybe out it balance in the engine
