Just picked her up!
Hi guys, just picked up my rig. I'll get some pics up as soon as possible. I am just getting used to her. But I was just wondering, at a stop light I was stopped obviously but felt a thud. It felt like the transmission but not sure. I know I need to grease the zerks in the drive line cus I do feel that, it just felt something was engaging. Just throwing it out there if anyone else has felt or think they know what I am talking about. Anyways very excited to be finally in the community!

This was/is very common on both my previous '00 (3rd gen) and current '08 (4th gen).
As explained to me, there's stored energy in the rear suspension that will sometimes release at slow speeds or sitting still. It's pretty unnerving. I always look to make sure nobody tapped me.
What year/model T4R did you get? And congrats!

Like I felt in ass of my pants, like something is engaging. If that is it guess I'll have to lube up those zerks this weekend. But I have felt drive shaft play before in my old sonoma, and it didn't feel like what I had felt. I bought a 05 SE 4x4 V8. Thanks

Driveshaft Clunk most likely. There's a TSB out for it, but you could just get Lexus GX driveshafts and have a nice, smooth feeling.

We bought from the original owners who had the dealer throw in all those extra options, actually the tires are general grabber AT/2. I got a wicked deal on them. I paid 156 tire, after the sale and rebate. I would like to do the 3/2 lift on it, and wheel spacers. I still have to grease the zerks. Thanks for the compliments.

Looks good. If you want to do a mild lift check out the FJ coil 5100 billie thread.. Very popular and cheap mod..

I really like the smooth power of the v8, but I don't get to drive it often. Its the kid hauler, so my wife drives it the most.
