Looking To Buy A Lift Kit Any Suggestions

Hey, how are you guys doing. So I got my 2003 SR5 4Runner last year and now I'm planning on doing a lift. I want to do a Suspension Lift and I'm not to sure what to buy. My Budget is 1000 and I've been looking at the OME Lift and the Bilstein Lift from the ToyTec Website. I'm just too sure can someone shed some light on lifts and possibly give some suggestions if you have any ? Sorry guys I'm a NEWBIE. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum!

I'd suggest you give this thread a thorough browsing - 4th Gen Suspension Options/FAQ

It pretty well sets out what to expect when lifting the 4Runner and what different options are out there for different needs.

edit - even with a $1k budget there are still plenty of options

absolutely go through the thread. There are a ton of different options, and for your budget you could assemble everything yourself and make it cheaper. Good luck!

I've made up my mind and I have my mind set on the Toytec Old Man Emu Kit. I've been looking around on the forum for ideas on what my 4Runner would look like and most other rigs running the OME set up look pretty good. Is there anything I should know about the OME lift before I buy it and are their any threads on how to install the lift and how to install the diff drop? I want to lift my rig up to the full 3 inches and i plan on getting a body lift in the near future also.
