WeatherTech, all weather floor matts or the floor liners?
Title says it all, wanted to get some opinions. I am leaning towards the floor liners but wanted to find out if there are any drawbacks. Like to thank you all ahead of time...

Guess I should point out that I live in Arizona so we don't get much weather here. I just picked up a 2008 today and I am having a tough time deciding. So far one response in support of the liners...

Do you want the extra coverage of the liners or not? I prefer the extra coverage of the liners. Especially in the rear row, as they cover from door to door.

Liners! If you're gonna spend that much on mats, might as well spend a bit more and get the liners. you wont regret it!

I had the mats in a previous vehicle and have the liners in my 4Runner. My vote is for liners, but you won't be disappointed by the quality of the mats if you go that route.

Liners here. on the passenger side the girlfriend made me put a carpet mat on top because the liner scratched her cowboy boots.
A side note. Mine are gray in color to match the carpet, wish I got black. the gray gets stained.
I also have the Weathertech rear cargo liner. I don't like it because it's a hard plastic material and everything just slides around on it. If I had to do it again I'd get the Husky cargo liner, it's more rubbery so things don't slide around so much.

Oh, in AZ you get weather all right. Just not the weather that anyone would consider pleasant! (born & raised in AZ, btw)
My OEM rubber mats stained my carpet. The last guy who detailed my car stated that he's seen that before and he's never seen liners stain the light carpet. Here's another vote for liners.
