Suspension question when towing

So I see all the threads about changing out the suspension. One thing I haven't found amid all the questions about shocks and springs is this:

I'm doing the FJ springs with Bilstein 5100s. So I have a small runabout boat that I tow on the weekends. It's about 2000lbs being pulled behind my 04 Sport. When I do the suspension, do I want a little forward rake to the vehicle to help account for the weight of the trailer being pulled? I don't do any offroad driving (unless you count driving over curbs), so most of my driving is commuting driving. Is leveling more for the offroad driving?

Thanks!

Yes. Leveling is all for looks as far as I know. I can't think of a practical reason for it. As soon as you put some weight on the back of a level truck it will sag and look 1000x worse than having some rake.

If you want the leveled look and want to be able to haul stuff with your truck, then at least get airbags for the rear suspension to help support the load.

Thanks. I'll probably keep a little forward rake to it in that case. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something or doing something wrong. I appreciate the feedback!
