OME Lift Ordered

I finally ordered the OME lift I've been putting off for a long time to replace my Day Star 2.5 1.5.

Hope to install it before Christmas. Toytec includes a trim packer to adjust for any lean but I'm still debating whether I should keep my rear driver's side day star spacer. Any advice? Thanks!

Did you go with the AB or C load Destinations? I've had mine about a month now...second set, but first on this runner, and I'm loving them.

I have the LT version so they are load C. Great tires.. Quiet, lightweight and the skinnys are fine if you can push them out with spidertrax.

Nice...that's what I went with. An additional 5lbs per tire hasn't really affected much in the way of MPGs thankfully. Did you have any issues with bearings or CVs with the additionaly weight/circumference?

OME Lift Installed

Installed an OME lift yesterday, with help from my brother-in-law. After 6 hours, it was a success! I did break a @&$% ABS sensor line so I'll have to figure out how to get that fixed..

Anyways, the details:

Replaced my Daystar 2.5 / 1.5 with an OME lift:

Up front:
885 Coils
OME Nitro Shocks
.5 Top Spacer
Toytec Diff Drop

In the back:
Toytec Superflex Coils
OME Nitro Shocks

I took before & after measurements from the center cap to fender. Please note, these aren't stock measurements, but measurements going from a Daystar to an OME lift. I was hoping to get an additional 1.5 inches and even when the lift settles, I'm confident I'll be there.

Before w/Daystar 2.5 - Front:
Driver - 21.25
Passenger - 21

Before w/DayStar 1.5 - Rear:
Driver - 22.75
Passenger - 22.75

After w/OME - Front:
Driver - 23.5
Passenger - 23.75

After w/OME - Rear:
Driver - 24
Passenger - 24

So, before things settle, I gained +2.5 inches in the front and 1.25 inches in the rear. Onto the pictures! Oh, I never took pictures when I added the brush guard and Hella lights.

Alignment

Got an alignment today and the difference is night and day. My 4R is still stiffer with the OME suspension, but it drives so much smoother after an alignment.

I plan on tackling the ABS sensor lines this weekend.

How's the ride with 885's? I'm thinking of upgrading to 885's, 886's, or 887's. 886's would probably be too harsh with no bumper yet though.

The ride is stiffer but I got the 885s mainly bc I wanted the mad amount of lift plus I'm going to get a Demello bumper sometime in the future. With a v6 I wouldn't go higher than the 885

Looks great with the lift. You gotta knock out the BHLM so they match the rest of the truck.
