Yes, I've gotten the urge. I do it sometimes to just drive. I don't always have a destination, just drive around, figure out new ways to get to known destinations.. which is quite weird doing at night.. sometimes forget it during the day since it looks different in the daytime.. haha..
but, not always a destination, just a drive. you could go to a restaurant thats open 24 hours, i dunno.. Denny's..?
Ain't nothing like driving at 2 am.. haha.. Enjoy, just be safe..

Hit the freeway, take an exit, drive around, look for dirt, hit a 7-11, look at your 4runner on the way in, while in, and on the way out, smell the night air, get in, look for dirt, find an open space, park, play with the console, get out, smell the air, sit on the bumper, open the hatch, walk a short ways away, look at the 4runner, smell the night air, walk back while looking at the 4runner, get in, drive around some more, look for dirt, enter the freeway again, exit when you get the urge, repeat.......until you find dirt.

My wife and I would drive 70 miles to a favorite pizza shop to have lunch, just for the drive. We would drive 50 miles to a State Forest to have a picnic lunch. I just purchased a PU trailer so we could hit the roads for vacations and weekend trips. LOVE to drive the 4Runner!

Although mine is a lease, i def enjoy the same kind of isht. I guess my favorite thing to do is to pull into a 7-11 or something like that, and have people with exploders or jgc's just look at it and not say a word. Just stare with envy.
Cuz, ya know, we got the best rigs out there.
CuzzinOlaf OMFG, you have 45k on your 2004. Damn boy, your runnin' from someone?

I am all over the place... Between my old commute back in NJ (55 miles each way), taking trips, towing my jetskis and snowmobiles I racked em up. That is why I bought a Miata to get around.

Yea it is small LOL but it is just like driving a go cart to work... lots of fun.
I lived down near Princeton and commuted to 138 on the GSP. Depending on the route I took it was 52-61 miles one way.

Now since I am in IL my commute is 15 miles, about 25 minutes and not too much traffic. They think they know what traffic out here is LOL... if they could only take a ride on the GSP on a Friday at 5pm in the summer heading south LOL.
The Miata is a 1996.... I am actually thinking of selling it. Funny thing is it has about as many miles as my Fo Runna does and it is 8 years older.

Yea, people have no idea what traffic is until the summer months here. What a bunch of lightweights.
Yea, but the good thing about the miate is, is that you can fill the tank with gas with a solo cup, and have it run for 300 miles.
SO, you're in chi town now eh? How is the winter drivers out there

My g/f begs me to drive the 4Runner every time we go somewhere. And on the rare occasion that I do let her drive it a short distance, she always comments on how smooth the ride is and how much she loves it. Now she's convinced that no matter what, her next vehicle will be a 4th gen 4Runner.

Talk about jacking a thread LOL. Sorry Neowig.
Winter has been mild out here. We had one decent storm but that was it. New Years weekend I took my sleds up north to the upper part of Michigan and hit some nice snow. That god I just bought new tires the day before my trip.
I actually want snow. I bought sleds to use around my area (not driving at least 4 hours north) and it has been mild. If I sell the Miata and Sleds I will buy a boat. At least the summers are nice and I have a lake across the street from my house. :awais:
